GORHAM, Maine – Fifth-year senior
Haley McKim (Moncton, New Brunswick/Mount Academy) became the University of Southern Maine women's ice hockey program's all-time leader in wins on Friday evening by making 28 saves in a 3-0 shutout against Albertus Magnus College. McKim now has 47 wins and has bested the mark set by Karen Jamnik (2000-2004).

Three Huskies had multiple points led by three-point performances by junior
Olivia Stewart (Fredericton, New Brunswick/Mount Academy) and sophomore
Ellie Eigner (Bowling Green, Ohio/ South Lyon East) with each tallying a goal and two assists. Sophomore
Shannon Murphy (Pembroke, Mass./Brewster Academy) also had multiple points with a goal and an assist.

How It Happened:
- The Huskies killed off two penalties in a scoreless first period and led 10-9 in shots on goal.
- Murphy scored 1:13 into the second period after Eigner fought to keep the puck in the offensive zone and Stewart found her with space to shoot. McKim kept the Huskies ahead with nine saves in the period including a big save on a Molly Martin breakaway midway through the period.
- Stewart added a second goal for the Huskies with just over five minute to go in the third. Stewart won the puck near center ice and maneuvered around a Falcons defender before scoring on a backhanded shot. Eigner and senior Isabella Colarusso-Sprang (Northfield, Ohio/Gilmour Academy) had the assists.
- Eigner scored on the power play less than a minute later off a feed by Stewart to make the score 3-0.

Inside The Stats:
- The Huskies killed three penalties in the game and went 1-for-3 in power plays.
- Southern Maine led 37-28 in faceoff wins led by 13 each from Stewart and freshman Makenzie Woodford (Cornwall, Prince Edward Island/ Mount Academy).
- Albertus blocked 25 shots in the game with Gabriella Dellacroce and Martin leading the way with five each.
- Senior Jess MacLean (Red Point, Nova Scotia) blocked three shots for the Huskies.
- McKim now has 18 career shutouts.
