CUMBERLAND, Maine – The University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's golf team finished fourth out of five teams on Wednesday at the Southern Maine Community College Seawolf Shootout at Val Halla Golf Course. Junior
Mackenzie Kingsbury (Woodsville, N.H.) was the top performer for the Huskies for the second consecutive match. Kingsbury fired a 102 (+30) to place seventh.

Team scores were determined by combining the top two performances for each team. SMCC won the event thanks to Charlotte Blanchard and Emma Hajdasz combining for a score of 155 (+33). Blanchard was the medalist with an 83 (+11) and Hajdasz placed fourth with a 94 (+22). Kingsbury and senior captain
Meaghan Dufresne (Mattapoisett, Mass./Old Rochester Regional) contributed to the USM score of 206 (+61). Dufresne (+31) shot a 103 to place eighth.

On the Course:
- Freshman Ryley Meyer (North Sioux City, S.D./Dakota Valley) and sophomore Belle Steeves (South Paris, Maine/Oxford Hills) tied for ninth after each player had a score of 104 (+32).
- Sophomore Meaghan May (Framingham, Mass.) placed 13th with a score of 108 (+36).
