BEVERLY, Mass. – Kathleen Reissfelder scored twice as part of a four-goal second quarter to lead the Endicott College Gulls to a 6-0 win over the University of Southern Maine Huskies in a non-conference field hockey game Wednesday night at North Field.

Tonight's game marked the fourth meeting between the University of Southern Maine and Endicott College. The Gulls have won the previous three matchups and lead the series 4-0. Endicott defeated Southern Maine 4-1 on September 26, 2023 in the last meeting.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Tori Swanson redirected in a pass from Reagan Hicks in the 11th minute to score the first goal of the game.
- The game remained 1-0 in favor of the Gulls through the first quarter before Endicott scored four goals in a seven-minute span to take a commanding 5-0 lead before halftime. Reissfelder scored in the 22nd and 29th minute to bookend the offensive flurry.
- After a scoreless third, Endicott scored its final goal in the 59th minute for the 6-0 final.

- Endicott had a large 35-5 lead in shots (27-3 on goal) in the game and had a 14-1 lead in penalty corners.
- Sophomore Jenessa Foster (Pittsfield, Maine/Maine Central Institute) had another game with multiple defensive saves for the Huskies, making two against the Gulls. Senior Jordan Cummings (Auburn, Maine/Edward Little) also had two defensive saves.
