GORHAM, Maine – The University of Southern Maine Department of Athletics and Recreation is excited to announce that the USM Ice Arena will be hosting several Open Skate sessions this semester. The department will be hosting both Student Open Skates for the USM population and Public Skates for the general public.
The first Student Open State will be held from 11:30am-12:30pm on Thursday, September 19 and other sessions will be held on select Mondays and Thursdays throughout the semester. The first Public Open Skate will take place on Wednesday, October 23 from 12:00-2:00pm.
Student Open Skates are open to all USM students, faculty and staff with a valid campus ID and participants are required to bring their own skates. The Public Skate events cost $5. Skate rentals will be available on a first come, first served basis courtesy of the Gorham Recreation Department/
