Cole Ouellette (Lewiston, Maine) was able to secure a win at first singles for his first victory of the season in the University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's tennis team's 7-2 loss to Little East Conference foe Vermont State University Castleton. Ouellette also teamed up with sophomore
Zac Howe (Arundel, Maine/Thornton Academy) for an 8-2 win at first doubles against Miki Almirall and Connor Davis.

Ouellette defeated Khiem Nguyen 7-5, 6-0 at first singles for the lone singles point for Southern Maine. At second singles, junior
Zach Desmarais (St. Cyrille, Quebec) won his first set 6-4 over Almirall before falling 6-2, 6-4 to drop the match.
