GORHAM, Maine – Diego Alvarez-Segee recorded six goals and four assists to power the Dean College Bulldogs in a 19-10 non-conference win over the University of Southern Maine Huskies on Saturday afternoon in men's lacrosse action. Alec Speirs added five goals and three assists while Manny Alvarez-Segee scored four goals and assisted on another.

How It Happened:
- Aidan McCarthy gave the Bulldogs an early 1-0 lead before junior Andrew James (Portland, Maine/Deering) tied the score with his first goal of the season. Dean outscored USM 4-1 over the rest of the first quarter with Diego Alvarez-Segee scoring twice.
- The Huskies outscored the Bulldogs 3-2 in the second to end the half trailing 7-5. Nick James, freshman Patrick O'Driscoll (Biddeford, Maine) and Wetmore had the goals for the Huskies.
- Dean pulled away in the third quarter by outscoring the Huskies 7-3. Three of those goals came from Speirs and two came from Diego Alvarez-Segee.
- The Bulldogs opened the final quarter with a 4-0 run to put the game out of reach.

- Freshman Adam Coley (Valencia, Cail./Cheshire) and junior Aman Zunser (Lyman, Maine/ Massabesic) also had goals for Southern Maine.
- Zunser and junior Duncan Hayes (Augusta, Maine/Cony), two of the team's captains along with Wetmore, led the Huskies in ground balls. Zunser had eight and Hayes recorded six.
- Tyler Benedetto took every faceoff for Dean and went 24-for-31 with 12 ground balls. He also added two goals after winning the faceoff and storming down the field each time.
