- Neither team scored in the second period as McKim made 11 saves and Murry made nine. Stewart scored her first goal of the season on a second-chance opportunity that was thrown on goal by MacLeod. Senior Madelyn McLeish (Dedham, Mass.) also had an assist on the goal, her first of the season.
- Junior Caroline Thompson (Victoria, Prince Edward Island/Mount Academy) blocked a William Smith shot to start overtime then broke up a pass that allowed MacLeod to collect the loose puck. MacLeod cruised down into the offensive zone and found an open Jackson who scored to end the game.
