Drew Johnson (Pismo Beach, Cali./Brewer), had double-digit digs in the match. Ahmer and Castonguay finished with 13 each while Johnson had 11. Despite their strong defensive effort, the UMass Boston offense led 41-17 in kills paced by Mya Perron with a game-leading 14.

How It Happened:
- The Beacons opened the match with a 25-13 win in the first set. The bulk of the scoring came from 13 kills and five aces.
- UMass Boston led throughout the second set and went up 2-0 with a 25-16 win. Perron had six of the Beacons' 12 kills in the set.
- The Huskies gave the Beacons a good fight in the third set and got within a point at 21-20 before UMass Boston closed out the match on a 4-1 run that featured three kills from Lauren Westlund.

- Senior Madison Zimmer (Regina, Saskatchewan/Dr. Martin LeBoldus Catholic) had a solo block and three block assists to help the Huskies to a 5-4 advantage in blocks.
- Amelia Devlin led all players in assists with 22.
- Ahmer and sophomore Tiara Begishe (Shonto, Ariz./Monument Valley) had five assists each for the Huskies. Begishe also had nine digs.
