GORHAM, Maine – The University of Southern Maine Department of Athletics, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and the Gorham Department of Recreation are excited to partner-up and host one of the season's most popular community events - the Annual Husky Community Howl-O-Ween Party. Scheduled for Sunday, October 27 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm, the 2024 Husky Community Halloween Party will be hosted at Gorham's Robie Park (28 Ball Park Road, Gorham, Maine).
Organized and hosted by Huskies' SAAC and the Gorham Department of Recreation, the Husky Community Howl-O-Ween party is always a highlight of the academic year, and provides kids
(grades 5 and under) from the local communities a safe and fun environment to participate in a variety of Halloween-related activities.
This free and family-oriented event will feature a haunted hayride, a costume contest, music, games, trunk-or-treat, and fun with University of Southern Maine student-athletes. All 23 University of Southern Maine intercollegiate teams participate in the event and are involved in set-up, break-down, decorating, collecting candy donations and coordinating games and activities.
With the wide variety of events and activities the Husky Community Halloween Party has something for everybody. Dress to impress for the costume contest, brave the haunted hayride, or simply come for the candy and games.
