How It Happened:

Toland took the original shot on goal which was saved by SJC keeper Carly Downey, but continued on in the play hustling to collect the loose ball and finding Roy.
- Southern Maine scored four goals in the second half for the 6-0 final. Junior Julia McKenna (Windham, Maine) broke through for a 3-0 lead, running on to a well-played ball from the back off of the foot of senior Mia Sargent (Portland, Maine/Deering) before Roy collected the brace in the 66th off of a feed from McKenna for the 4-0 advantage.
- Blatchford scored in the 83rd off of a service from junior Ella Boucher (Auburn, Maine/Edward Little) before the Huskies scored one more in the 90th minute as junior Aly Veilleux (Manchester, N.H./Manchester Memorial) made a long run with the ball and completed the play.
