  • Ithaca was held scoreless in the home half of the eighth inning, as USM's defense erased a lead-off walk with a 4-6-3 double-play featuring freshman Chris Quigley (Halifax, Mass./Silver Lake Regional), Lukza and senior Arlo Pike (Buxton, Maine/Bonny Eagle) before sophomore Clay Robbins (Auburn, Maine/Edward Little) retired the final Ithaca batter with a strikeout.
  • Southern Maine tacked on three more runs off of three hits in the top of the ninth inning.  Seymour hit a solo home run to start the ninth.  Pike had a double, and senior Brogan Searle-Belanger (Saco, Maine/Thornton Academy) had an RBI single.
