WATERVILLE, Maine – Meg Rittenhouse scored twice and Grace Caligiuri made 24 saves as the Colby College Mules blanked the University of Southern Maine Huskies 3-0 in a non-conference women's ice hockey contest. The game was the first of the season for Colby, who was recently ranked seventh in the United States College Hockey Online (USCHO) Division III Women's Poll.

How It Happened:
- Rittenhouse scored in the final minutes of the first period to put the Mules ahead 1-0. Her goal was the first of the season for Colby and was assisted by Cailyn Murphy and Sophie Melsness. She scored another goal in the second period and Anna Staton made the lead 3-0 with a goal in the period as well.
- Sophie Melsness assisted on the first two Colby goals.
