Brianna Delloiacono (Moodus, Conn./ Nathan Hale-Ray) recorded a season-high 19 kills as the University of Southern Maine Huskies' women's volleyball team defeated the Fisher College Falcons 3-1 on Wednesday night in Gorham. Delloiacono,
Sierra Castonguay (Nottingham, N.H./Dover) and
Tori McMahon (Wappingers Falls, N.Y./ Roy C. Ketcham) were honored prior to the match as part of the Huskies' Senior Night ceremony.

Series History:
Tonight's match was just the second time the two programs have faced each other. The first meeting came on September 18, 2021 when the Huskies won 3-0.

How It Happened:
- Fisher came out swinging in the first set and logged 14 kills while winning the set 25-16. Caroline Saucier and Alicia Tkach combined for 11 of the 14 kills with Saucier notching six and Tkach recording five.
- The Huskies evened the match at one set apiece by winning the second set 25-20. Southern Maine led for nearly the entire set and had five aces from five different players.
- Southern Maine jumped out to a 9-2 lead in the third set only for Fisher to battle back and tie the score several times. The Huskies were able to close out the set 25-21 to go up 2-0.
- The Huskies finished off the match with a 25-17 win in set number four to take the match. Delloiacono ended the match with her sixth kill of the set to match her career-high total in kills.
Inside The Stats:
- In addition to her 19 kills Delloiacono led the Huskies in digs with 16.
- Castonguay matched her jersey number with 12 digs.
- Saucier led the Falcons with 12 kills followed by Tkach with 11.
- Sophomore captain Drew Johnson (Pismo Beach, Cali. /Brewer) recorded a career-high 11 kills.
- Freshman Cassidy Weiher (Aurora, Colo./ Cherokee Trail) set a new career-high in assists with 39 and also had seven kills of her own.
- Madison Zimmer (Regina, Saskatchewan/Dr. Martin LeBoldus Catholic) recorded four aces in the match.

Up Next:
The 2023 season will conclude for Southern Maine on Saturday with a road tri-match at Vermont State University Castleton. The Huskies will not only face the hosts in LEC action but will have a non-conference rematch with Fisher as well.
