Today's game marked the 61st meeting between the Keene State College Owls and the University of Southern Maine Huskies.  Keene State now leads the overall series 38-15-8.

How It Happened:
	- ·      In a scoreless battle, KSC found the go-ahead goal on a well-placed corner kick service from Declan Coughlin on to the head of Hamzic.  Hamzic was able to out-jump the Huskies defense, and sent the ball in just before regulation expired.

	- ·      Scoreless at the half, Keene State outshot the Huskies 7-2 in the opening 45 minutes, and had a 5-0 lead in corner kicks. Hamzic nearly had a goal, again off of his head, in the 11th minute, but Husky defender freshman Owen Weatherby (Windham, Maine) headed the ball off the line to prevent an early KSC lead

	- ·      The Huskies looked to be the better side to start the second half, controlling play and creating offensive chances.  A rocket of a shot off of the foot of freshman Jack Brady (Jensen Beach, Fla.) was parried away by KSC goalkeeper Regan Racicot in the 51st minute.

	- ·      Husky sophomore Cole Johnson (Orange, Mass./Ralph C. Mahar) nearly had USM on top in the 81st minute, but his shot hit off of the post.  In the 84th Ali Alzawar put a header on target, but Husky goalkeeper Simon Gabaree (Windham, Maine) made a quick save to keep the score level.

	- ·      KSC's game-winner was set up after a free kick was headed clear over the touch line for a Owl corner kick, giving Coughlin and Hamzic the opportunity for heroics.
