  • Southern Maine extended its lead to 3-0 in the second quarter when freshman Jenessa Foster (Pittsfield, Maine/Maine Central Institute) hit a powerful shot following a pass from senior Mary Keef (Westbrook, Maine) in the 23rd minute.  NEC broke up the shutout before halftime, however, making it 3-1 in the 24th minute on a score from Drea Chin.
  • Chartier returned the Huskies' three-goal advantage, scoring her seventh goal of the season in the 38th minute off of Drinkwater's second assist of the game.
  • Drinkwater got in on the scoring action herself for the 5-1 final, scoring in the 39th minute on an assist from junior Hanni Johnson (Livermore, Maine/Spruce Mountain).  The goal is Drinkwater's seventh of the season.
