Madison Chagnon (St. Albans, Vt./Rice Memorial) recorded her second hat trick of the season and junior 
Haley McKim (Moncton, NB, Canada) made 29 saves to lead the University of Southern Maine women's ice hockey team to a 3-0 win over Plymouth State.

The Goaltenders: McKim (Moncton, NB, Canada): 10-9-0, 26 saves, shutout; Amelia Julian: 3-15-0, 22 saves, three goals allowed.
 
How It Happened/Inside the Boxscore:
	- Chagnon scored her first goal just under 10 minutes into the opening period with Jess MacLean (Red Point, NS, Canada) and senior Jordan Colbert (Manomet, Mass.) assisting.
 
	- Her second goal came 17:29 into the second period with senior Maddy Young (Westford, Vt.) recording the assist.
 
	- Chagnon finished the hat trick in the third period with her 17th goal of the year in the final minutes of the third period.
 
	- Senior Amanda Crowley (South Yarmouth, Mass./Tilton School) and sophomore Amelie St-Amant (Cornwall, Ontario/Ontario Hockey Academy) recorded the assists on the final goal.
 
	- McKim stopped six shots in the first then doubled that total in the second and finished with 11 saves in the final stanza.
