How It Happened/Inside the Boxscore:
- McKim stopped all 27 shots she faced in the first period as neither team could find the back of the net.
- Elmira kept up the pressure on offense and scored four goals in the second period.
- The Soaring Eagles added another goal in the third period to make the final score 5-0.
- Jenny Heath recorded a hat trick for Elmira and was one of three Soaring Eagles with multiple points joining Morgan Mordini (two assists) and Erika Goleniak (goal and an assist).
- Sophomores Jess MacLean (Red Point, NS, Canada) and Madison Chagnon (St. Albans, Vt./Rice Memorial) each had two shots on goal for the Huskies.
