How It Happened:

  • Monk freshman Kate Russell reduced the SJC deficit in the 65th minutes cleaning up a loose ball after a corner kick; however, Southern Maine bounced right back to lead 3-1 in the 68th minute when Hill scored her first intercollegiate goal, collecting a rebound off of a shot taken by junior Eliza Roy (Camden, Maine/Camden Hills).
  • Berthiaume, the Huskies' all-time leading goal scorer, made it 4-1 in the final seconds of the game, scoring in the 90th minute, off of a feed from junior Kiaya Gatchell (Portland, Maine/Deering).
