Southern Maine (4-3)

How It Happened:
- Southern Maine pressured early putting a pair of shots on frame in the opening minutes only to be stymied by SJC goalkeeper Kassidy Collins before Drinkwater broke through for her team-leading fifth goal of the season. Drinkwater completed an assist from junior Mary Keef (Westbrook, Maine) to notch her second game-winning goal of the season.
- The Huskies' 1-0 lead stood through the first half, but was quickly doubled by Carson in less than 30 seconds into the third quarter with an unassisted goal. Carson's first goal of 2022 makes her the 10th USM player to register a goal this season.
- Surette's late goal in the third bookended the quarter giving USM a 3-0 cushion heading into the fourth. Husky senior Samantha Ellis (New Vineyard, Maine/Mt. Blue) assisted on the play to give Surette her second goal of the season.
- SJC broke up the shutout in the fourth when Maya Waryas scored an unassisted goal in the 53rd minute, but the Monks were unable to put another past Husky senior goalkeeper Julianna Kiklis (York, Maine).
- The Huskies threatened for more goals in the fourth, but Collins made four of her game-high 11 saves in the final seven minutes of the game to keep the game at 3-1.
