KEENE, N.H. – Halie Ratajack (Brewster, N.Y.) scored six goals to lead nine Owls in scoring as Keene State College took down the University of Southern Maine Huskies 19-12 in Keene on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Huskies are now in a three-way tie for third in the conference.

How It Happened/Inside the Box Score:
-The Owls jumped out to an early 2-0 lead as Ratajack and Hannah Dworkin (Manchester, Vt.) each got on the board. Kiaya Gatchell (Portland, Maine/Deering) and Kate Colvin (Winchester, Mass./Governor's Academy) scored three minutes apart to bring the game back to a tie.
-Ratajack struck twice more in the first quarter to give the Owls a 4-2 lead.
-Colvin and Gatchell got the scoring going again for the Huskies in the second quarter, scoring back-to-back goals. Evelyn Hinkley (West Gardiner, Maine/Gardiner) also added a goal. The Owls only netted one in the second, but went into the half with a 6-5 lead.
-The Owls added to their lead right away after halftime as Mindy St. Marie (St. Albans, Vt.) scored twice and Emma Goodridge (Dover, N.H.) added an up goal. Rachel Shanks (Naples, Maine/Lake Region),

-Keene State's offense came to life in the fourth quarter as they scored eight goals to the Huskies four to secure the 19-12 win.
-The Owls out-shot the Huskies 43-22 and went 16-for-16 on clear attempts.
-Defensively, Maeve McGarrity (Scarborough, Maine/Cheverus) led both teams with three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
