Another UMB single loaded the bases with one out, and Snyder came on to relieve Merrill. Snyder struck out the first batter she faced before UMB scored on a wild pitch for a 6-4 game. With runners on second and third, Snyder got the final out on a fly ball.
- Leidemann-Smith had two RBI for the Huskies, going 1-for-3. Miller was 3-for-4 with two runs scored from the Huskies' lead off spot as the only other Husky aside from Day to collect more than one hit.
