Robby Pini (Natick, Mass./Natick) collected his 249th career ground ball to set a new program record as the University of Southern Maine Huskies took down the Thomas College Terriers 19-6 on Wednesday afternoon in Waterville.
Omar Contreras (Portland, Maine/Deering) scored six goals while
Nick James (Portland, Maine/Deering) had five to lead the Huskies' offense.

-Not thirty seconds into the game, James scored his first goal of the night to open up scoring for both teams. The Huskies outscored the Terriers 8-2 in the first quarter of play on four goals from James, three from Contreras, and one from Schuyler Wetmore (Cumberland Center, Maine/Greely).
-Southern Maine went on a five goal run to begin the second quarter as Wetmore added two more goals, Tucker Nussinow (Winthrop, Maine/Kent Hills School) scored twice, and Andrew James (Portland, Maine/Deering) also got on the board.
-The third quarter was dominated by the Huskies as they scored another five goals to bring the score to 18-3. Goals in the third quarter came from Contreras, N. James, Duncan Hayes (Augusta, Maine/Cony), and Nolan Whitney (Berwick, Maine/Noble).
