How It Happened/Inside the Box Score:
-Despite the Huskies taking an early 2-0 lead on goals from Aidan Mitchell (Brunswick, Maine/Brunswick) and Omar Contreras (Portland, Maine/Deering), Norwich put seven on the board to take a 7-4 lead after one quarter of play.

-Cruise Lizotte-Johnson (Sanford, Maine/Sanford) and James each scored in the second quarter, but three different Cadets had a multi-goal quarter, bringing the score to 15-7 at the half.

-James scored five goals and tallied two assists in the second half of the game, but eight second half goals from the Cadets was more than enough to seal the win.

-The Cadets out-shot the Huskies 62-37 and won 28-of-39 face offs.

-Parker Campbell (Rockway, N.J.) and Payden Masaracchia (Enola, Pa.) led Norwich in scoring with four goals each.

-With nine goals on the day, James set a new school record for goals in a single game, surpassing the previous record of eight goals that he set at the beginning of the 2020 season.

Up Next: The Huskies are set to travel to Thomas College on Wednesday, March 16 for a non-conference tilt at 4pm.
