GORHAM, Maine – On senior day, celebrating Rylie Binette (Milan, NH/Berlin), Shannon Colbert (Manomet, Mass./Tilton School), Brianna Doty (Lyndonville, Vt./Lyndon Institute), Shannon Douglas (Telford, England/Ontario Hockey Academy), and Julianne Nelson (Armstrong, BC/Shawnigan Lake School), the University of Southern Maine Huskies took down the Salem State University Vikings 4-1 in Gorham.

How It Happened/Inside the Box Score:
-Georgie Snow (Yarmouth Port, Mass./Dennis-Yarmouth) gave the Huskies an early 1-0 lead when she put in a nice wrap around goal midway through the first period.
-Giving the Huskies a two-goal cushion, Madison Chagnon (St. Albans, Vt./Rice Memorial) scored her 11th goal of the season in the 14th minute of play.
-Salem State answered back just five minutes into the second period when Carolyn Mahoney (Melrose, Mass. / Matignon) found the back of the net.
