NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The University of Southern Maine Huskies team suffered an 8-1 loss on the road to the Norwich University Cadets in a New England Hockey Conference contest on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened/Inside the Boxscore:
- Mikah Baptiste scored four goals and recorded an assist for the Cadets.
- Aimee Headland dished out three assists while Ann-Frederique Guay, Olivia Boyer, and Ingrid Holstad-Berge each had two for Norwich.
- Morgan Tefft netted two goals for Norwich.
- Sophomore Madison Chagnon (St. Albans, Vt./Rice Memorial) scored the lone goal for the Huskies and has now scored in each of the past five games and recorded points in the past seven games. During that stretch she has scored eight goals and logged four assists.
- Senior Maddy Young (Westford, Vt.) recorded her second assist of the season on Chagnon's goal.
- The Huskies blocked 13 shots led by seniors Amanda Crowley (South Yarmouth, Mass./Tilton School) and Jordan Colbert (Manomet, Mass.) who each blocked three.
- Norwich went 5-for-5 on powerplays with Baptiste recording a hat trick of powerplay goals and both of Tefft's goals coming on the powerplay.
