GORHAM, Maine. – The University of Southern Maine women's volleyball went 1-1 at the home tri-match at Hill Gym on Saturday. The Huskies dropped a Little East Conference game to UMass Dartmouth 3-0 and defeated UMaine Presque Isle 3-0 at the event.

- The Huskies held the Owls to just eight points in the first set, the least number of points they have allowed since a 25-7 set win over Husson University on April 15, 2021.
- Southern Maine registered a .333 hitting percentage in the second set on their way to a 25-13 set win.
- UMPI battled back in the third set but the Huskies were able to hold them off to sweep the match 3-0.

- Sophomore Reese Bourgeois (Agawam, Mass.) logged 10 kills to lead all players.
- Freshman Sophia Biggie (Castine, Maine/St. George) finished second on the team in kills with six and also logged four blocks (one solo, three assisted).
- Junior Kailey Foley (New Gloucester, Maine/Gray-New Gloucester) recorded five kills and three block assists.
- Lindsay paced all players in assists with 19.
- Castonguay, freshman Ellie Perry (Gorham, Maine) and Linsday led the Huskies in digs at 10, nine, and eight.
- Amalia Erives led the Owls with 10 digs and nine assists.
