NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Senior
Hayes Estrella (Kennebunk, Maine/Thornton Academy) made five saves to pace the University of Southern Maine Huskies to a scoreless draw with the UMass Dartmouth Corsairs in Little East Conference men's soccer action Saturday afternoon at Cressy Field.
Facing each other for the 33
rd time in series history, it is the third draw between the two schools. USM and UMD were scoreless in a double-overtime draw in 2018. The draw stops a three-game skid for the Huskies. UMass Dartmouth leads the overall series 22-8-3.

How It Happened:
- USM pressured early registering two corner kicks and three shots in the opening eight minutes of action, but Corsair goalkeeper Jack Waterhouse turned aside junior Yahya Altaie's (Westbrook, Maine) shot on frame to keep it 0-0.
- UMD tested Estrella twice in the opening half, but each time he came up with the save to keep it 0-0 after the first 45 minutes were expired.
- The Corsairs put three attempts on frame in the second half, and totaled seven second half shots, but Estrella kept the clean sheet. The Huskies' senior captain made a pair of saves in the final in the final three minutes to keep the score level.
