How It Happened/Inside the Box Score:
-Crowley's first goal of the season came midway through the first period, giving the Huskies an early lead. Georgie Snow (Yarmouth Port, Mass./Dennis-Yarmouth) assisted the goal, her third of the season.
-Play remained even as the Huskies ended the second period with 18 total shots on goal to the Herons' 19.
-The Herons threatened late and out shot the Huskies 28-12 (18-7 on goal) in the third period, forcing McKim to make a number of key saves.
