PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Rhode Island College Anchormen completed their undefeated season with a 9-0 victory over Southern Maine on Saturday in Providence. In the victory, the Anchormen swept all of the doubles and singles points. The Anchormen finish the season at 8-0, while the Huskies drop to 0-8.

Junior Ciara Richards (Caribou, Maine/Caribou) was able to win two points in the first set against RIC's Grace Zangari, before dropping her match at first singles 6-2, 6-1. At second singles, sophomore Riley Curtis (Brewer, Maine/Brewer) managed one point in the second set, but lost 6-0, 6-1 to Hailey Raskob. At third and fourth singles, Rachel Grome (Franklin, Mass/Franklin) and Audrey Richdale (Belfast, Maine/Belfast Area) both lost 6-0, 6-0, to Lauren Macera and Serena Bobola, respectively.

In doubles competition, the Huskies dropped both matches 8-0. Jenna Lisi and Victoria Vittori took down Richards and Curtis at first doubles and Grace Zangari and Hailey Raskob bested Grome and Richdale at second doubles. 

This match concludes the regular season for both the Huskies and the Anchormen.
