Kaitlin Bouchard Joins Husky Athletics as Administrative Specialist

GORHAM, Maine – University of Southern Maine Director of Athletics Al Bean is proud to announce the hiring of Kaitlin Bouchard as the new administrative specialist following the departure of Lisa Keller who spent the past five years in the athletic department at USM.

"Lisa made significant contributions to our athletic department during her five-year tenure as an administrative assistant," said Bean. "She was organized, efficient, and exceptionally qualified for her position. Lisa provided outstanding support to all of our staff and juggled multiple key administrative tasks to assist the overall organization and operation of the department. She will most certainly be missed, but we wish her well with her next challenge as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker."

Bouchard, a native of South Portland, comes to Gorham after spending the past two years working for the Boston Red Sox minor league affiliate Portland Sea Dogs as an Associate Game Day Intern. As a member of the Sea Dogs Game Day staff, Bouchard assisted with set up as well as general office duties. During games, Bouchard was a key member of the support staff lending a hand in the concessions stand, ticket office, and enhancing the fan experience as an usher, photographer, and field ambassador.

Earning her undergraduate degree in May 2021 with a concentration in sport management at Emmanuel College (Boston, Mass), Kaitlin was a four-year student-athlete for the Saints' softball program (bio) and was the team captain during her senior season. Bouchard was the recruiting representative for the softball team while participating in the New Student Day of Service and the Emmanuel College Day of Service off the field. Bouchard also worked at Boston College in concessions at the Silvio O. Conte Forum and Alumni Stadium during her time in The Hub.

"We're excited to have Kaitlin join our staff as she's clearly ready to begin her professional career in athletics," says Bean. "Kaitlin brings a true love of sports, and a strong desire to work in athletics to Southern Maine. I expect Kaitlin to be an excellent fit with our staff and a strong contributor to our department."
