Jake Gagne joined the University of Southern Maine staff in August of 2025 as an Athletic Trainer. Gagne came to USM after spending four years at Emmanuel College as an Assistant Athletic Trainer / Strength and Conditioning Coach.

He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from University of New England in 2019 and his Master of Science Degree in HHP Health Science from Fort Hays State University in 2021.

While studying at Fort Hays, Gagne served as the Lead GA for the Football program and was the primary AT contact for Men's Wrestling. He also served as an Assistant Teacher for undergraduate course work in Intro to Racket Sports and Responding to Emergencies.
