Entering her 21st year as a member of the University of Southern Maine Department of Athletics, Cracolici was named the Director of Athletic Communications in 2021, after 16 years as Assistant Director. In 2020 she was presented with the University's President's Award for Staff Excellence.Â
During her time at Southern Maine, Cracolici has led a comprehensive media relations program to help the University achieve goals established for Intercollegiate Athletics in all facets of athletics communications operation for the University’s 23 Division III athletic programs. Creating a robust digital media presence through social media, online broadcasting, and the Huskies' athletics website southernmainehuskies.com, Huskies' Athletic Communications emphasizes telling both the competitive and non-competitive stories of the University of Southern Maine's nearly 450 student-athletes, its coaching staff, and department initiatives. Â
Directing the publicity and promotion efforts of the University’s 23 NCAA Division III intercollegiate athletic programs, Cracolici serves as the primary media contact for field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, wrestling, softball and baseball. She is primarily responsible for all graphic design, desktop publishing and special event features, artwork, promotions and publicity.Â
A former three-sport college athlete, Cracolici now channels her athletic pursuits through endurance events and has completed six IRONMAN triathlons (140.6), 14 half IRONMAN triathlons (70.3) and one (and only) stand-alone marathon.Â
