Ashley Durepo

Ashley Durepo returned as head coach of the University of Southern Maine women’s lacrosse program in August of 2024. She led the Huskies to a program record 13 wins in her first season back in Gorham and was named the 2025 Little East Conference Coach of the Year Coach of the Year. The Huskies had two First Team All-Little East Conference selections last season including Katelyn D'Appolonia, the 2025 LEC Rookie of the Year who was also named IWLCA Second Team All-Region.

Durepo previously led the Huskies for three seasons from 2018-2020. She led the Huskies to a 20-16 record in her first head coaching stint in Gorham and was recognized by her peers as the LEC Coach of the Year in 2019. She coached eight Huskies to All-LEC honors during her tenure and one player to All-Region honors. 

Durepo left USM to serve as head coach at NCAA Division I Merrimack College for the 2021 season. She then went on to be the head coach at Concord High School in Concord, N.H. in 2022 and an assistant coach at NCAA Division II Southern New Hampshire University in 2023. She spent the 2024 season on the coaching staff at Falmouth High School in Falmouth, Maine.

A two-time All-America East Conference second-team selection and an AEC All-Rookie Team pick during her collegiate playing days (2006-09) at the University of New Hampshire, Durepo began her coaching career at USM before returning to her alma mater for the 2012 season.  She moved on to serve a three-year stint (2013-2016) as an assistant coach at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

During her collegiate playing career at UNH, Durepo helped the Wildcats reach one NCAA tournament and make four America East tournament appearances.  She scored 90 goals and dished out 28 assists for 118 points in 72 games, and annually ranked among the team’s leaders in ground balls, draw controls and caused turnovers.  Durepo was also a three-time America East All-Academic Team honoree, and graduated from UNH with a bachelor’s degree majoring in sociology with a business management minor.
