Why USM:  I chose USM because I love the atmosphere of the campus and all the academic resources they provide me with.

2024-2025: Wrestled at both 149 lbs and 157 lbs ... Recorded six wins ... Named to the NEWA All-Academic Team.

Before USM: Four years varsity wrestling at South Plantation HS ...  Varsity Team Captain ... 2022 USMC Junior & 16U National Championship Qualifier ...  Recipient of AICE Diploma with Merit Seal of Bi-literacy in Spanish.

Personal: Majoring in Biology ... Son of Aliuska Nueva and Cesar Calderin ... Has two siblings, Anais and Aliana Montero.
