Why USM: It gave me the opportunity to reconnect with family that I don't see often. This school also gave me the opportunity to grow as my own person and get away from my small town.

Before USM: Lettered in volleyball at Nansemond River ... Member of the National Honor Society and BETA Club.

Personal: Majoring in Nursing ... Daughter of Meredith Hodgin ... Has one sibling, Paul.
