Andrew Rose was named a full-time assistant coach with the Huskies' cross country and track and field programs in the fall of 2022 after previously serving as a part-time assistant coach.Â
In addition to his experience coaching the Huskies, Rose served as an assistant coach with the track and field programs at Cheverus High School in Portland, Maine from 2014-21. Coaching the sprinters, jumpers, and hurdles, Rose was elevated to the position of Associate Head Coach for Cheverus in 2018 and served in the role until 2021. While on staff at Cheverus, Rose helped guide the girls track team to five state championship titles from 2017-2019. During his tenure his athlete group broke 15 school records and 11 state records.

Rose graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2021 with a degree in health sciences.Â
