Gaby Panagakos joined the Southern Maine women's soccer staff ahead of the 2023 season following the end of her collegiate career. Panagakos suited up for the Huskies as a graduate student transfer for the 2022 season following after a successful career at UMaine. She was impact player for the Huskies and helped the team to the 2022 Little East Conference Championship title, scoring the game-winner in USM's 3-1 overtime win against Western Connecticut in the championship game. Her lone season with the Huskies saw her score seven goals and add seven assists on her way to a Second Team All-LEC nod.
Panagakos, who earned her undergraduate degree at Maine in Nursing, is pursing her Master's Degree in Nursing (Family Practitioner) from USM. A native of Scarborough, Maine, Panagakos had a storied career at Scarborough High School which included multiple All-SMAA and All-State selections, two conference Player of the Year award and and All-New England honor.
Panagakos has also coached with Rooseevelt Soccer Club.
