Aaron Willingham joined the University of Southern Maine cross country and track and field programs in February of 2022 as an assistant coach working both the men's and women's programs.
Willingham was a four-year letterwinner in cross country and track at the University of Maine where he was a three-time All-America East Conference honoree in cross country. Willingham earned first team honors in 2017 and 2018 and was named to the second team in 2016.
Willingham graduated from the University of Maine in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education and went on to earn his master's of education in Kinesiology in 2020.
