Former two-time team captain Brianna Doty '22 has joined the University of Southern Maine women's ice hockey coaching staff as an assistant coach during the 2023-24 season.
Doty played four seasons for the Huskies as a defender and appeared in 84 games over her career. She finished her career with seven goals and 17 assists for 24 total points. Doty was a four-time William B. Wise Scholar Athlete as a Nursing major and three-time New England Hockey Conference All-Academic Team member. She also was an American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-American scholar in 2019-20 and won the USM Athletic Department's Kimberly M. Turner Award as a senior for her contributions to the department as a student-employee.
A native of Lyndonville, Vt., Doty graduated from USM in 2022.
