Why USM:  I chose USM to compete as a dual sport athlete at a high level while balancing academics. I loved the tight knit community and look forward to all USM has to offer.

Before USM: Transferred to USM from Maine (NCAA DI) where she played two seasons of field hockey ... Played varsity field hockey, basketball and track at Nokomis Regional High School ... Two-time All-State and First Team All-KVAC selection in field hockey ... Named to the Northeast All-Region Team in field hockey ... Two-time Second Team All-KVAC selection in basketball ... KVAC and McDonald's All-Star in basketball ... Two-time team captain for both field hockey and basketball ... Class president and NHS ice president at Nokomis ... Graduated with high honors.
 
Personal: Majoring in Sport Management with a minor in holistic integrative health ... Daughter of Derek and Penny Townsend ... Has one sibling, Dawson.
