Southern Maine Athletics

Why USM: My parents and brother went to the University of Southern Maine,  and the close knit community and the athletic community being so close. 

2024-2025: Played in 17 games and started in three ... Averaged 14.9 minutes per game ... Shot 31.3 percent (15-for-38) from the field and 50.0 percent (4-for-8) from three-point range ... Averaged 2.9 points per game and 2.9 rebounds per game ... Scored a season-high nine points in a road win at Keene State (1/25/25).

2023-24: Did not play

2022-2023:  Averaged 7.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists per game ... Had 16 points in a victory over the University of Maine at Farmington, going 6-11 from the field and, was perfect from the free-throw stripe (4-4), also gathered 6 rebounds, and dished out two assists ... Scored 15 points in a Little East Conference loss to UMass Boston, going 6-12 from the field, and 3-3 from the free-throw line, while also tallying three assists ... Finished tied in first on the team in offensive rebounds ... Was third on the team in total assists ... Started all 26 games for the Huskies. 

2021-2022:  Named to the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association (MWBCA) Weekly Rookie Honor Roll three times ... Played in 25 games, starting in 15 ... Averaged 3.9 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game ... Averaged 7.83 points per game and shot 51.8 percent from the field in the final five games of the season 

Before USM: A four-year varsity member of the South Portland HS Girls basketball and volleyball teams ... Named a McDonald's All-Start as a senior. 

Personal: Majoring in Exercise Science ... Father Vinnie Degifico was a two-time All-American (1986, 1987) with the Huskies' baseball team and played for the Red Sox organization.
