Entering his 13th season on the sidelines, USM assistant coach Dale Sanders has provided the Huskies with a wealth of basketball knowledge.

A teacher and member of the Maine Teacher's Association, Sanders has held previous coaching positions at Bates College, Southern Maine Technical College (now Southern Maine Community College) and Gray-New Gloucester.

While at SMTC, Sanders ammassed an 88-42 record and posted a record of 53-55 at Gray-New Gloucester.

Sanders, a Maine native, earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Maine Presque Isle and played both soccer and basketball for the Owls.
