2024-2025: Started in 23 games and averaged 35.5 minutes per game ... Shot 48.8 percent (117-for-240) on the season and 42.9 percent (51-for-119) on threes ... Averaged 14.6 points to rank third on the team ... Averaged 3.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game ... Scored in double figures 16 times with four game with 20 or more points and two games with 30 or more points ... Scored a career-high 39 points in a win against UMaine Presque Isle, shooting 14-for-16 from the field, and a perfect 7-for-7 from three-point range (11/8/24) ... Had a career-high six assists in a conference win against UMass Dartmouth (2/15/25) ... Earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors. 

2023-2024: Named to the Maine Men's Basketball Coaches & Writers Association (MMBCWA) All-Rookie Team ... Played and started 26 games ... Shot 46.7 percent (98-for-210) ... Shot 34.2 percent (40-for-117) in threes ... Averaged 10.8 points and 2.8 rebounds game .. Finishing his rookie season as the Huskies' fourth-leading scorer averaging 10.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game, Saunders was named the Little East Conference Rookie of the Week three times in 2023-2024 ...  Scoring in double-digits in 14 games this season, Saunders had a season-high 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting in an 81-59 win over Eastern Connecticut (December 9).
