Biography
Why USM: I chose USM because it wasn't too far from home and my high school team mate and friend was coming here to wrestle as well. I knew that wrestling would help keep my life in a good routine.
2024-2025: Competed at 285 lbs ... Had a record of 14-8 with four wins by fall ... Placed sixth at the NEWA Futures Tournament.
2023-2024: 2024 New England Wrestling Association All-Academic Team ... Competed at 285 lbs ... Had three wins, including two by fall ... Three-time William B Wise Scholar Athlete.
2022-2023: First year award winner of the 2022 William B. Wise Scholar-Athlete Award.
Before USM: Played football, baseball and wrestling all four years of High School ... Senior year was wrestling captain and remained undefeated through his final season ... Football team was undefeated senior year ... All-Conference First Team at 285 lbs in wrestling.
Personal: Attended Central Catholic HS in Lawrence, MA ... Son to Brain and Christine Bufagna and brother to sister Megan age 22
