BEVERLY, Mass. – Sabrina Brunet scored twice and had an assist to lead the No. 15 Endicott College Gulls to a decisive 6-0 win over the University of Southern Maine Huskies in a non-conference field hockey game Wednesday night at North Field.
The Gulls scored three goals in the second quarter to break open a 1-0 game and take the win from the Huskies.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Endicott scored late in the first quarter on Brunet's first goal of the game and fourth of the season at the 14:04 mark.
- Ella Perry made it 2-0 nearly eight minutes into the second quarter, scoring in the 23rd minute for her first goal of the season, before Brunet and Elena Govoni scored back-to-back goals in a span of 52 seconds to expand the lead to 4-0. Brunet assisted on Govoni's goal in the 29th minute.
- Both teams recorded a pair of shots in the third with both of the Huskies on frame to keep the game at 4-0 in favor of the Gulls before Endicott tacked on two more scores in the fourth on goals from Lily Johson and Abby Antoneli in the 52nd and 53rd minute for the 6-0 final.

- Endicott led in shots 19-7 (10-3 on goal), and had a 10-2 lead in penalty corners in the game.

Southern Maine remains on the road. The Huskies are on the road for their next two games traveling to nearby Saint Joseph's College on September 26 (11:00 am) and finally at No. 9 Bowdoin College on September 29 (7:00 pm). The Huskies will have played three nationally-ranked opponents in a four-game stretch by the end of their road trip.
