BRUNSWICK, Maine - Masai Gordon and Jack Banks each scored a first-half goal to lead the Bowdoin College Polar Bears to a 2-0 win over the University of Southern Maine Huskies in a non-conference men's soccer game Tuesday night at Pickard Field.

Tonight's game marked the 45th meeting between the University of Southern Maine and Bowdoin College. Bowdoin leads the overall series 38-4-3. The Huskies last defeated the Polar Bears on September 17, 2008, 3-1, at home. USM fell to the Polar Bears, 1-0, in Gorham in 2025.
How It Happened:
- Gordon collected a deflected ball in the 15th minute and knocked it into the back of the net to give the Polar Bears a 1-0 lead early in the half.
- Banks' header just before halftime gave Bowdoin a 2-0 advantage. Banks was able to connect with a long pass from Keito Ishibashi for the score.
