KEENE, NH – Camden Thomas held the Huskies to a pair of singles in eight innings of work to lead the top-seed and 2025 regular season champion Keene State College Owls to a 4-0 win over the fourth-seed University of Southern Maine Huskies in game five of the 2025 Little East Conference Baseball Championship Tourney.
KSC is 2-0 in the tourney headed into day three. Southern Maine is eliminated from tournament and concludes its season at 20-19.

How It Happened – Keene State 4 , Southern Maine 0
- Thomas struck out eight and did not yield a hit until the bottom of the fourth inning in a strong performance on the mound.
- Keene State took a 1-0 lead in the second on an RBI single to right field from S Zina. Zina drove in the unearned run as J Chatfield reached on one of three Husky fielding errors in the game, and then advanced to second on a failed pick off attempt.
- The Owls made it 2-0 in the fifth. With a runner on first after a fielder's choice play, Cali singled through the right side to move an Owl up to second. Both runners advanced a base on a wild pitch before McCue picked up the RBI with a ground out to second base.
- Follett closed the door on the game with a two-run double in the eighth.
- Husky junior Kyle Douin (Augusta, Maine/Cony) had USM's first hit of the game - a one-out single to left. Douin moved up to third in the inning after a walk and a single to senior Jack LeBlond (Lewiston, Maine/Bridgton Academy) but the Huskies were unable to push a run across in the inning.
