How It Happened – GAME 1
- Douin put the Huskies up early cranking a solo home run over the center field fence in the top of the first inning.
- With Black on the mound in the start, the Huskies stayed in front of the nationally-ranked Seahawks through the third inning. Black worked his way around a pair of singles in the first, a single in the second, and cruised through the third with a pair of strikeouts.
- After the Huskies went down in order in the top of the fourth, Salve Regina struck for three runs on four hits in the home half of the inning to jump ahead 3-1. Singles from Shane Williams and Nate Ruehs had runners on first and second with one out for Salve, before Tyler Petrosino picked up three RBI with a home run to right. Black ended the inning for USM with a double-play ball.
- Another 1-2-3 inning for the Huskies in the top of the fifth led to a two-run bottom of the fifth for the Seahawks. Williams earned both RBI with a double to left picking up Hunter Yaworski and Wil McCarthy who led off the inning with back-to-back singles for a 5-1 Seahawk lead.
- After the fifth neither team put a run across the board. Fifth-year Lucas Francis (Lisbon, Maine) pitched three innings of relief allowing one hit, while Keblinsky closed the game firing the final inning for USM allowing no hits and a walk.
- Clark, who pitched through the seventh, finished the game with 13 strikeouts. He allowed three hits and a walk. Jason Arrigo fired the final two innings, striking out two without a walk or hit.
How It Happened – GAME 2
- Salve led 1-0 after the bottom of the first, but Southern Maine tied it up in the top of the second on an RBI single from senior Jack LeBlond (Lewiston, Maine/Bridgton Academy). LeBlond drove in Keblinsky who reached safely with a one-out double to the gap in center.
- The Seahawks responded with four runs in the bottom half of the inning highlighted by a two-run double from Evan O'Rourke.
- After a scoreless third, Southern Maine made it a 5-3 game in the top of the fourth. Graduate student Sam Economy (Hampden, Maine/Hampden Academy) led off the inning drawing a walk, and came around to score on a one-out triple from Keblinsky. The Huskies scored their second run of the inning on an RBI sacrifice fly Francis.
- Scoring three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and three more in the bottom of the eights, the Seahawks were able to pull away from the Huskies to earn the doubleheader sweep. Christian Homa, O'Rouke and Wil McCarthy each had an RBI single in the sixth, while McCarthy had an RBI single in the eighth and Matthew Neal added a pinch-hit two-run double.

- Keblinsky finished game two going 2-for-3 with a double and a triple, scoring two runs and picking up an RBI
