Lenge Repeats as LEC Offensive Player of the Week

GORHAM, Maine  -  Junior Exauce Lenge (Portland, Maine of the University of Southern Maine Huskies' men's soccer team has been named the Little East Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.
 
Scoring big goals for the Huskies in a pair of Little East Conference games, Lenge helped USM earn a point at home against UMass Boston in a 2-2 draw, and had the Huskies' lone goal in a 1-1 draw on the road at Eastern Connecticut. 
 
Setting a program record for draws in a season (9), the Huskies have earned 10 points in conference play and are guaranteed a spot in the 2025 Little East Conference men's soccer championship tournament. 
 
Lenge scored the Huskies' first goal with a long-distance far-post strike in the ninth minute in the draw with the Beacons.  On the road against the Warriors, Lenge again gave the Huskies an early lead with an 18th minute goal for his sixth score of the season. Lenge's six goals so far in 2025 are the most by an individual player since the 2021 season when Zekariya Shaib scored six goals. Lenge has recorded a point in each of the Huskies' last five games (2-0-3).
 
The Huskies finish the 2025 regular season on the road at Plymouth State on Wednesday (3:00 pm).
