Series History:
This is Thomas' first women's volleyball season since dropping the sport after the 2009-10 season. The Huskies hold an 8-0 record in the series and have won every set.

How It Happened:
- The Huskies scored the first four points of the first set and held on to the lead to take the set 25-18. Freshman Ella Koehler (Pickerington, Ohio/Fairfield Christian Academy) had two back-to-back aces during the 4-0 run to start the match.
- Southern Maine won the second set 25-23. A 5-0 run by the Terriers helped them take an 18-16 lead before the run was ended by a Darrien Pugsley (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Arlington) kill. Thomas scored the next point before the Huskies had a 5-0 run of their own to retake the lead at 22-18. The Terriers eventually cut the lead to 24-23 before a spike from Koehler gave the Huskies a 25-23 set win.
- Thomas was trailing 11-6 in the third set before they cut the lead to a point with a 4-0 run. The Huskies settled in however and scored the next seven points to go up 18-10. Southern Maine closed out the match with a 25-15 win in the third set.

- The Huskies led in aces 12-2 led by Castonguay's four. Johnson and Koehler each had three as well.
- Koehler added nine kills for Southern Maine while senior Madison Zimmer (Regina, Saskatchewan/Dr. Martin LeBoldus Catholic) and sophomore Anyelis Hernandez (Lawrence, Mass.) each had five.
- Johnson has recorded at least 10 kills in five matches this season.
- MJ Rose led Thomas with 10 kills.
- Castonguay and Halle Ham tied for the most digs in the match with 13.
- Ana Romero had 18 assists for the Terriers.
